Alexander Technique
Alexander Technique was developed in the early 1900's by F Mathias Alexander. The goal of the Alexander Technique is not only to be used as a healing treatment, but as an entire physical re-education process through the expert guidance of a teacher.
It is a comprehensive integration of mind & body by retraining people to realign and balance their movement and posture. Clients will be shown how to eliminate the patterns that interfere with the best performance or function of the body.
The main benefits of the Alexander Technique include a significant lowering of physical and mental stress which improves breathing, and relief for certain medical conditions including arthritis, back pain etc.
The Alexander Technique is best suited to release tensions that are held subconsciously in the body. It will also re-educate the clients to stand, sit and move in a way that is harmonious and more efficient.
